Who we are: Founded by a results-driven team of domain experts, backed by payments-focused VCs, Angels, and key opinion leaders in the elective medical procedure space, CoFi is solving well-articulated and high-impact, yet unaddressed problems for premium medical practices, through our SAAS payments offering.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for a mid-level software engineer to join CoFi’s Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Our engineers work full-stack. Work is balanced between building new features from scratch, bug fixes and infrastructure improvements. This is an opportunity to influence the growth and future direction of CoFi’s software.

Technologies: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS

Responsibilities: ● Produce clean, readable, structured code that is easily maintainable and provides desired functionality, and that adheres to fundamental principles of Software Design ● Resolve bugs and make UI enhancements ● Communicate project progress effectively to both technical and non-technical peers and management ● Ability to work as part of a team to come to a common solution for challenges presented

Job Requirements: ● Technical background in software engineering ● 3 or more years of experience building and maintaining SaaS products in a production environment ● 3 or more years of experience building applications in Ruby on Rails ● 3 or more years of experience with JavaScript ● Proficiency with Postgres or similar relational database ● Experience with AWS
